DSC is a way for calling a correspondent. The DSC message gives some
information like identification of calling ship, type of call, position of ship.
The communication is set up after acknowledging the DSC call.
These software modules have been developed to process subsequent calls
in radiotelex (NBDP), either for MF or HF frequency bands. Each module
comes in addition of DSC call software, for the same frequency band.

- Allows a data transmission with error checking and correction
in 2 modes (FEC, ARQ)
- Call code identification : 4/5 or 9 digits
